  • Help drive and execute key decisions on software architecture and features
  • Unlock roadblocks and cultivate collaboration with senior technologists across Google and Alphabet through leadership, creativity, intelligence, and presence
  • Actively develop and grow talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning and retention strategies for key talent in a fast growth, highly competitive economic environment

What you should have

  • 12+ years of demonstrated experience leading software teams designing, developing, maintaining, and releasing complex production-grade enterprise/business software
  • Ability to go deep into technical problems and work closely with engineers and technical leads, coupled with ability to see the big picture of technical tradeoffs and direction
  • Experience with leading collaborative software development workflows and platforms including GitHub, agile development/scrum, unit testing, CI/CD, and production operations
  • Experience in full-stack software engineering, including Python and user interface development
