As an experienced Program leader in our software development team, you will be responsible for the processes, tools, and frameworks that lead to successful high quality delivery for the Product and Engineering teams You will be a key strategic partner in developing, managing, and maintaining the Product team’s portfolio and roadmaps. You will strive for execution excellence, optimization, and continuously support/unblock teams to make sure that we’re consistently delivering new features and experiences for over one million active Zwifters. You'll be part of a passionate program team with a clear focus on supporting the Product and Engineering orgs while playing a key role in the success of the business.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating the unknown, driving clarity, managing competing priorities, and elevating others to ensure they’re doing their best work. They’ll effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively solve complex technical challenges, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement. Additionally, they will contribute to product development and take full ownership of their work, bring innovative ideas, and foster positive team dynamics.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to establish and refine best practices for the Product and Engineering teams including gold standards for documentation, tracking, reporting, ceremonies, and touchpoints
- Develop and maintain intake, prioritization, program standards, and updates for key product and engineering programs
- Maintain release and product roadmap tracking sources of truth
- Implementation of PDLC and SDLC frameworks as needed
- Track key dates, OKRs, dependencies, and deliverables for Prod/Eng in project management software
- Deliver reporting on key programs on time and with accuracy
- Manages individual large cross-functional programs as needed
- Develop a system for accurately measuring the velocity and output of Program and team work
- Escalate programmatic issues early and often to Product and Engineer partners and leaders
- Develop ways of working between Product and Engineering teams that creates efficiencies, clear approvals, escalation paths, and unblocks work
- Builds deep relationships across the organizations with teams and establishes trust with key leaders
- Design systems that measure the tracking of Product features including delivery and velocity of Product teams
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of technical program, program, or project management experience leading cross-platform teams
- Experience delivering large scale programs through both the PDLC and SDLC
- Extensive experience in JIRA, Wrike, and other project management software
- Experience in leading, managing, and scaling teams while developing a positive team culture
- Demonstrated experience of driving clarity and ushering large, complex projects through successful delivery
- Thought leader with experience working autonomously and leading in a cross-functional setting
- A high level of comfortability with executive communication
- Success in leading agile teams at scale
- Experience developing and executing successful tracking of program, feature, and team velocities
- Exposure to sophisticated product and program management techniques like User Story Mapping, Journey Mapping, and Design Thinking
- Cross-platform device experience: mobile, desktop, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivation to deliver results and a desire to continuously elevate yourself and your teammates

For All US Based Full-Time Positions:
The base salary for this position ranges between $106,500 to $170,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, Zwift is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package for all eligible employees which also includes performance bonuses, equity, and a full range of medical, financial, and other perks and benefits.
