Job Description

Checkout.com is seeking a Group Product Manager and leader to join our team of product managers working on enhancing our finance and treasury infrastructure. This role will play a crucial role in developing new capabilities which will help minimise the manual processes within the organisation. The successful candidate will provide cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and business teams, to ensure new products are embedded throughout Checkout.com’s Finance and Treasury ecosystem, enabling a seamless experience for our merchants and our internal Finance and Treasury teams. Daily tasks include understanding stakeholders’ pain points, driving prioritization for product development, and developing new capabilities for our customers.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Teams across the organisation to understand how their products impact our Finance and Treasury Ecosystem. 

  • Understand how new CKO products will need to operate from a finance and treasury perspective and break this down into detailed requirements.

  • Work closely with various product teams within Financial Infrastructure to oversee the end to end build of your solutions.

  • Be metrics focused, ensuring that what you deliver has achieved the intended impact.

  • Build strong relationships with our Finance and Treasury team, to understand their pain points which you will leverage to develop future tooling.

  • Build strong partnerships with business, product, and technology stakeholders and work with them for their buy-in and collaboration to generate momentum for your products

  • Work with other product and engineering leaders to ensure alignment with their roadmaps and delivery.

  • Gain a deep understanding of Checkout.com ’s customers and business.

  • Foster a team culture that upholds Checkout.com’s operating principles.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of product management experience.

  • Experience work with Finance and/or Treasury team

  • Data-driven: Skilled at leveraging data and business insights to determine strategic priorities and drive the product roadmap and execution.

  • Customer-first: Think from the customer's perspective and can balance future opportunities with immediate needs.

  • End-to-end mindset: Think in a structured and diligent manner, understanding all key components necessary to drive the ongoing success of a product.

  • Leadership: Excellent at collaborating with stakeholders in product, engineering and business teams proactively, demonstrating high EQ and influencing skills.

  • Effective communicator: Able to inspire others with a shared vision and simplify complex concepts for a wide range of audiences.
