What you'll do...
Staff Product Manager, Recommendations is responsible for defining the strategy and execution of our personalization roadmap to drive key metrics around core recommendations across the customer journey and helping them discover, engage and buy. This role will be responsible for collaborating cross functionally with Data Science, Analytics and Business team to develop machine learning models and targeting capabilities which use deep content and customer understanding to help the customers discover and engage with relevant and personalized recommendations for them.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a personalized item recommendation strategy that aligns with our OKRs and delivers customer value.
- Conduct and articulate complex ROI analysis to inform recommendations solutions with direct and indirect value to the customers.
- Work with peers and business stakeholders to build joint roadmaps, pro-actively communicate dependencies and resolve conflicts with suggested solutions.
- Drive a data-informed approach to personalization and item recommendation by working closely with data scientists and analytics to identify key metrics and build models that deliver personalized recommendations across all touchpoints in the customer journey.
- Continuously test and optimize recommendation models to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, using A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation techniques.
- Leverage data insights to inform product decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, analytics, and engineering, to develop product initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, and ensure alignment on product priorities and goals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to personalization, item recommendation and ensure our product strategy remains competitive.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
