As an Staff Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in expanding and enhancing our offerings for merchant and retail customers. You will apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation. You will also develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision. Working as a tech lead and SME, your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to the following:

Develop and implement new system designs and solutions using Ab Initio Technologies and work on continuous improvements.

Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.

Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.

Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements.
-
Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.

Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
-
Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform.
Tech Skills:
-
Experience in design, architecture or development in Analytics and Data Warehousing.
-
Solid experience in Abi-initio, ETL pipeline building with spark or scala.
-
Programming framework with knowledge in developing UNIX Shell Script, Oracle SQL/ PL-SQL.
-
Experience in Big data platform for ETL development with AWS cloud platform.
-
Should have experience with Oracle SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, and relational model analysis.

Experience in ETL AB-Initio tools like GDE, BRS, Express-IT, Control centre.

Experience with Teradata data warehouses and Cloudera Hadoop. Solid understanding across Enterprise Analytics/BI/DW/ETL technologies such as Teradata Control Framework, Tableau, OBIEE, SAS, Apache Spark, Hive

Analytics & BI Architecture appreciation and broad experience across all technology disciplines.

Experience in working within a Data Delivery Life Cycle framework & Agile Methodology.

Exposure to building end-to-end solutions with the Big data platform, Spark or scala programming.

Good to have – Integration, knowledge of MQ's, API's, Kafka.
