We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex enterprise network infrastructures. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our network systems, and will serve as a technical expert and mentor within the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design: Lead the design and deployment of advanced network solutions including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and data center connectivity.
Network Optimization: Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to ensure high availability and low latency across all network segments.
Security & Compliance: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network security policies, implement firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Troubleshooting & Support: Serve as Tier IV escalation for complex network issues, providing expert-level diagnostics and resolution.
Project Leadership: Manage and execute large-scale network projects, including migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with network hardware and service providers.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred:
Experience with advanced network solutions including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and data center connectivity.
