Staff Network Engineer

Position Summary

Analog Devices is seeking a highly experienced Staff Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, modernization, and operational support of the company's global network infrastructure across enterprise sites, engineering labs, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and cloud environments.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for strategic initiatives involving Juniper networking, Aruba wireless solutions, Palo Alto security platforms, Fortinet \ any SD-WAN and SASE Netskope \ Zscaler, cloud networking, and enterprise infrastructure transformation programs. This individual must possess strong technical expertise while demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Design, deploy, and support global WAN, LAN, WLAN, data center, cloud, and network security infrastructures.
  • Lead network modernization initiatives including SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, cloud networking, firewall transformation, and wireless upgrades.
  • Architect and operate solutions utilizing:
    • Juniper (EX, QFX, MX, EVPN-VXLAN, ESI-LAG)
    • Aruba (Wireless, Controllers, ClearPass, Mobility Master)
    • Palo Alto (NGFW, Panorama)
    • Fortinet (FortiGate Firewall, FortiManager, SD-WAN)
  • Develop technology roadmaps, engineering standards, operational procedures, and security guidelines.
  • Support AWS, Azure, and GCP networking and hybrid-cloud connectivity.
  • Lead infrastructure projects, vendor engagements, capacity planning, budgeting, and lifecycle management.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders, infrastructure teams, security organizations, manufacturing stakeholders, and application teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Influence technical decisions and provide strategic guidance to leadership teams.
  • Mentor and coach engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution workshops across global teams.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, consultants, and strategic partners.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish monitoring, alerting, incident response, and escalation procedures.
  • Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for critical incidents.
  • Promote automation, standardization, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security of global network services.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
  • Expert knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, security, cloud networking, and data center technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, and Fortinet platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • BGP
    • OSPF
    • ESI-LAG
    • EVPN-VXLAN
    • SD-WAN
    • VPN Technologies
    • QoS
    • SASE & Network Security
  • Experience supporting large-scale global enterprise, manufacturing, engineering, and cloud environments.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $113,190 to $163,905.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
