Key Responsibilities- Quality Strategy & Technical Leadership
- Own and drive the quality engineering strategy for the Admin Platform across UI, API, and integration layers.
- Define test architecture, automation standards, and best practices aligned with platform scale and long-term roadmap.
- Champion an “automate everything” mindset, ensuring automation-first quality practices.
- Test Framework & Automation
- Design, build, and evolve test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent modern tools.
- Develop and maintain robust UI, API, and integration automation suites for:
- Admin workflows (Plugins, user management, roles, entitlements, configuration etc)
- Multi-tenant and role-based access scenarios
- Cross-product administrative capabilities
- Ensure test frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and CI/CD friendly.
- Agile & DevOps Collaboration
- Actively participate in design reviews, backlog refinement, and PI planning to influence quality early.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast and reliable feedback.
- Mentorship & Engineering Excellence
- Serve as a mentor and technical role model for quality engineers across teams.
- Raise the bar on test design, automation code quality, and engineering discipline.
- Promote continuous learning, innovation, and adoption of modern QA tools and practices.
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with strong hands-on automation expertise.
- Proven experience designing and owning test frameworks for large-scale web platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent UI automation tools.
- Strong experience in API automation (REST, JSON, OAuth, etc.) using tools/frameworks like Postman or custom solutions.
- Solid understanding of SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architectures, and role-based access systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or equivalent languages.
- Deep understanding of non-functional testing: performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
