We are hiring a Staff Engineer, Marketplace, to design, build, and maintain integrations that expand the functionality and reach of Healthie’s platform. In this senior technical role, you’ll take ownership of architecting and delivering scalable integration solutions that allow Healthie to be bidirectionally connected with third-party systems, APIs, and tools critical to our customers’ success.

You’ll work alongside our Marketplace team to identify and prioritize high-value integration opportunities. Your work will involve building robust, reliable, and secure connections with external platforms, services, and partners, while ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability and maintaining Healthie’s high standards for quality and user experience.

You’ll play a critical role in defining Healthie’s long-term marketplace strategy, driving the development of integrations that enhance the platform’s value proposition and unlock new use cases for our customers. By balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, you’ll ensure the integrations you build are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the evolving needs of Healthie’s customers.

In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise with a customer-first mindset, translating complex technical challenges into elegant and practical solutions. As a mission-driven leader, you’ll help position Healthie as a leading innovator in healthcare technology, empowering providers and organizations with the tools they need to deliver exceptional care.

• This is a full-time, hybrid position located at at NYC HQ
• The salary range is $197,000 - $227,000
• U.S. work authorization is required and Healthie does not provide sponsorship.

• You have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specializing in building and maintaining integrations, APIs, or marketplace platforms at scale.
• You bring hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying integrations with third-party systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability across complex ecosystems.
• You have direct experience with our Tech Stack: Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Capybara.
• You have a strong background in software architecture, systems design, and scalable infrastructure, ensuring integrations are reliable, secure, and performant.
• You excel at collaborating cross-functionally, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring engineering teams to build high-quality, innovative solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• You are adept at translating complex integration challenges into practical, customer-focused solutions, simplifying technical details for diverse stakeholders, and aligning integration strategies with business goals.
• You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, balancing long-term strategic priorities with the need for agile execution and rapid delivery.
• You are deeply passionate about healthcare technology and the potential of integrations to unlock new value for customers, improving outcomes for patients and providers alike.
