Job Summary:
The GUI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces for software applications. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, design engineers, and software engineers to translate requirements and design concepts into functional, high‑quality interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Gather, analyze and prepare software requirements Design and implement graphical user interfaces based on requirements and design guidelines. Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the UI. Collaborate, communicate and resolve technical issues or concepts with other engineers Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and code reviews. Maintain documentation for UI components, styles, and interaction patterns. Conduct UI testing, including usability testing, cross‑platform testing, and performance tuning. Implement automated UI tests where applicable.
Qualifications:
Required
- BS or MS in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Strong proficiency in GUI development using tools or frameworks such as:
- WPF, WinUI, or similar.
- Relevant programming experience in C/C++ and C#
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and user‑centred design.
- Proficiency in version control systems
- Experience with automated UI testing frameworks.
Preferred
- Python programming experience a plus
- Embedded software development experience a plus
- AI/ML experience a plus
- Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the different software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, Waterfall, V-model
- Coding standard and guidelines
