The Reddit Community Partnership Management team builds and nurtures relationships with moderators of the largest and most active communities on Reddit. Through a suite of programs and initiatives, the team aims to empower these moderators with the tools, resources, and support they need to grow and manage their communities effectively.
We are searching for a highly strategic and experienced Staff Community Partnership Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of how Reddit partners with its volunteer moderators. As a senior individual contributor, you will leverage your deep understanding of online communities, your passion for Reddit, and your exceptional program management and operational abilities to drive strategic initiatives and build impactful relationships with moderators.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management Strategy: Lead the development and team implementation of a comprehensive Moderator account management strategy, including segmentation, prioritization, and engagement frameworks.
Program Verticalization: Identify opportunities to verticalize program activities based on community type and needs. Develop specialized strategies and resources for different community verticals.
External Partnerships: Collaborate with XFNs including Sales to develop and execute replicable partnership models that deliver value to both Reddit, the moderators, and their communities.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong direct relationships with moderators, leveraging deep understanding of the Reddit Moderation experience to act as a trusted advisor and advocate within Reddit.
Community Health: Partner closely with moderators to promote healthy community moderation and engagement, addressing challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Program Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of key initiatives and identify areas for optimization.
Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in online community and community leadership, sharing insights and recommendations with the team and broader organization
What We Can Expect From You:
- 8+ years of experience in Community, Customer Success, Partnerships, Program Management, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of online communities, social platforms, and user behavior
- Experience working with online community leaders a plus
- Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic initiatives involving users
- Ability to lead user-facing programs that inform, engage, and delight
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills both internally with XFNs and externally with users
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for Reddit and its mission
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth digital environment is preferred

- Deep experience as a Reddit Moderator
- Basic data analysis abilities (SQL)
- Experience working with Salesforce
