Job Summary

Alpine Power Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant / Entry-Level Accountant to join our growing finance team. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance while gaining exposure to a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.


Responsibilities
  • Process monthly employee expense reports using Concur.
  • Follow up with employees and managers regarding outstanding expense reports.
  • Set up and maintain employee profiles in Concur.
  • Process Product Requests within Salesforce.
  • Monitor and collect outstanding customer balances as assigned.
  • Submit invoices through customer and supplier portals as required.
  • Reconcile customer portal accounts.
  • Distribute invoices to customers as needed.
  • Review outgoing check payments and weekly ACH transactions.
  • Support the fleet team by reviewing overdue maintenance items.
  • Perform inventory reconciliations.
  • Reconcile To Be Billed (TBB) accounts.
  • Assist with tracking and monitoring the full-cycle battery recycling process.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Prepare standard and adjusting journal entries.
  • Assist with month-end close activities.
  • Create and maintain key performance reports for management.
  • Provide support to the finance and tax teams as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of initiative.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
