About the Position:
**This is a remote position with occasional travel to the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Candidates within a reasonable driving distance of Indianapolis are preferred.**
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable transactions for our clients
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
- Recurring journal entries
- Work with clients to provide updates and answer questions, escalating to a Controller when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of QBO and experience with cloud-based accounting software and tools (Bill.com, Tallie, Gusto, etc.) preferred
- Passionate about technology and able to learn new software quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized with great attention to detail and an emphasis on creating an excellent customer experience
