Summary
Assist with month-end closing process and record keeping responsibilities. Provide reporting and analysis from the information contained in the accounting system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close for Summit Racing Equipment, as well as other entities, in a manner that maintains accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Analyze and communicate results with Accounting Supervisor.
Maintain effective and efficient communication within the department and throughout other departments. This includes reporting to managers their department’s monthly expenditures and assisting them with any questions concerning these expenditures.
Assist with the recording and maintaining of fixed asset listings.
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist with year end processes and gather requested information for outside auditors.
Perform other accounting tasks as needed and work with Supervisor on miscellaneous accounting functions.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. 1 – 2 years of general bookkeeping/accounting. Experience with month-end closing process and reporting preferred.
Initial training will be 90 days and 100% on-site.
After training period, this will be a hybrid position with minimum 2 days on-site.
Candidates must be located in OH and able to commute to the office to be considered.
