 About the RoleWe’re looking for a Staff Accountant to play a key role in our growing finance team. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving process improvements.  Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process, including prepaid expenses and accruals.
• Conduct monthly expense variance analysis and review findings with accounting leadership.
• Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for review with accounting leadership before executive presentation.
• Manage fixed and intangible asset schedules, including depreciation and amortization, and record related journal entries.
• Support accounting projects, process documentation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance and HR teams to execute cross-departmental policies, including corporate credit card management, expense reporting, capital project oversight, and fleet management.
• Assist in forecasting cash flow, expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies that align with industry best practices.
• Identify and implement efficiencies within accounting and finance to support business growth.

 Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting/finance or related discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools, such as ERP systems, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
• Detail-oriented, execution-focused, and deadline-driven with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
