Nexamp is seeking to hire a Corporate Staff Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. You will be responsible for reconciling cash activity, month end functions, and other ad-hoc projects.  You will have the opportunity for future growth and development within a collaborative and supportive team environment. We are seeking a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic professional to join our dynamic team. 

You will be hybrid out of our Boston office. You will report to the Director, Corporate Accounting. 

 

  • Responsible for the execution and performance of accounting and finance activities, including, but not limited to:
  • Record monthly journal entries for the financial close, which include (but are not limited to) prepaids, revenue, inventory, fixed assets, accruals, debt, and capitalized project development
  • Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations for the month end close including preparation of inventory support, capitalization schedules, fixed asset schedules, and prepaid schedules
  • Support corporate accounting functions and ad-hoc projects, as needed  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. 
  • 1+ years of accounting or related experience.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Willing and able to adapt to a high energy, fast paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and efficient.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and overall computer skills.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow 
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.   
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality. 
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions. 
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry. 
  • Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
