What You'll Do:
The Staff Accountant assists with day-to-day payroll matters, vendor invoice matching, and vendor payment processing, as well as participates in general accounting functions, including account reconciliation, tax filings, and responding to audit inquiries.
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently; ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve Accounts Payable (AP)-related issues
- Assist with processing and managing bi-weekly payroll for employees
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
- Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies
- Work closely with HR to ensure precise maintenance of employee to ensure the accurate processing of global payroll
- Perform account reconciliations of AP and payroll accounts
- Maintain documentation for AP, purchasing, and payroll
- Prepare journal entries and other analytical data in support of month-end close
- Perform various month-end closing activities within the established timeframes for the closing process
- Prepare tax filings
- Gather documentation for external auditors and tax authorities
- Other duties may be assigned
Bring It!
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of prior accounting experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with Oracle or other equivalent ERP software is highly preferred
- Strong in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, organizational, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work is essential

Salary range: $66,560 - $85k (DOE)
