You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting business performance, and driving continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.
What you'll be doing:
- Support Accounts Payable Lead in Australia
- Bank reconciliations
- Project accounting (reviewing agreements/budgets to actuals/time & materials)
- Cost accounting, including management of average costing
- Timely and correct processing of invoicing and managing accounts receivable
- Review of Timesheets
- Fixed Asset register for accounting and tax maintenance
- Assist in a timely month-end closing process, reconciliations, and relevant postings
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including variance analysis
- Analysis and report preparation
- Identify areas for operational improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Provide backup support for various team functions
- Assist with external audit process and provide supporting documentation as required
- Management of and adherence to global accounting policies
- Work seamlessly with the head office finance function in Australia
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Knowledge and hands on experience with US GAAP
- 2+ years of accounting experience (ideally within a consulting environment)
- Well-organised, detail-oriented self-starter, able to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities efficiently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively and collaborate within cross functional teams
- Working knowledge of Netsuite, Microsoft Office Applications, with proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with US GAAP
- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Accounting experience in a consulting environment
