SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an experienced junior-level accounting professional looking to further develop their skills within a structured and collaborative accounting environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performbank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy andtimelyresolution of discrepancies
- Completeaccuratedata entryrelated to financial transactions and accounting records
- Assistwithcompliance filingsin accordance withregulatory and internal requirements
- Prepare and filesales tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Review andassistwith theapproval of promotional accruals, ensuring proper documentation and proper accounting treatment
- Support general accounting functions andassistwith special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountingrequired
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communicationand teamwork skills
- SAP experience preferred
