Job Overview
SupplyOne is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join the finance team in Clearwater, FL. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial insights that support business decisions. Responsibilities include general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, tax filings, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities-
Maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts.

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare financial statements and management reports.

Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense tracking.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

Assist with audit preparation and documentation.

Prepare ad hoc reports and provide financial analysis to support management decisions.

Utilize accounting software effectively and assist with system enhancements.

Help streamline and improve accounting processes.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Prior accounting experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment.

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training. Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior accounting experience (preferably B2B)
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Ability to utilize accounting software effectively
- Experience assisting with month-end/year-end close and audit preparation
