Description
Seeking an Accountant with General Ledger knowledge to support the Finance function, corporate reporting, and overall operations of AT-RISK.
Perform General Ledger accounting and reporting of financial and operational activity.
Play a critical role in the monthly close, ensuring ownership over assigned areas
Maintain various schedules including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, etc. while reviewing and approving related transactions
Assist with preparation of journal entries for general ledger reconciliation
Accounts payable, cash, and other account reconciliations
Manage Accounts Receivable entry and reconciliation process
Ensure account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed in a timely manner
Assist with monthly management reporting and analysis of financial results
Support budget creation and variance analysis
Retrieve corporate mail and process for further action
Education, Skills and Experience
3-5 years of accounting experience
Associate degree in Accounting required, bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
Extensive knowledge of accruals, schedule creation and maintenance
Solid communications skills (oral & written)
Excellent analytical skills
Working knowledge of general ledger systems (Sage Intacct, Quickbooks, or comparable program preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Must have expertise using Pivot Tables, Conditional Sum, V-Lookup functions, etc.
Experience in collaborative professional environment
Ability to tackle tasks independently

Skills Required
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Associate degree in Accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
