Staff Accountant (St Louis, MO)

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in managing and maintaining the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This position requires a basic understanding of accounting processes, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications:

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.

·        Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar), and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and SaaS metrics is a plus.

·        Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

·        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and other departments.

·        Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

·        Experience with SaaS revenue recognition and subscription-based billing.

·        Experience with Chargify/Maxio, our billing and financial operations platform.
