Staff Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development

Job Responsibility Summary:

The Multi Market Power team is looking for a Staff Test engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing high performance test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) focused on new product development for power products.  These include:

• Work with design engineers in defining/developing Test methodologies and ATE final test and wafer sort test solutions, often innovating new methods to establish capability on new design architectures while establishing best performance, quality and cost of test solutions.  This may include evaluating new test platforms and establishing capabilities that would be used by the rest of the Test Engineering community.
• Responsible to lead a team of Test Engineers who are either working on the same product or the same product technology.

Key qualifications:

• Solid background with electronics, circuit analysis and understanding of Power products.
• Expertise with Power product test solution development covering both Hardware and Software development.
• Expert knowledge with ATE and related Test and Measurement technologies that includes bench equipment, contact methods, handling technologies among others.
• Proficiency for collaborative leadership, with an emphasis on learning from others and contributing to collective projects in a technical, supportive network.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related courses with 7+ years of working experience.

As a Staff Test Engineer, you'll leverage your advanced technical experience or degree and practical application of engineering and scientific principles to pioneer new theories and methods. This position requires independence and considerable latitude in reaching objectives, anticipating change, and influencing career development. You will be recognized as a key contributor in a complex and critical environment, often directing problem resolution and taking lead roles.
