Job Description

As a Glass Collector you will work as part of the Bar and Catering Team and be responsible for helping to deliver excellent customer service within the bar area.

Reporting to the Bar and Catering Team Leader you will be part of the Bar and Catering team, who will contribute in achieving the highest standard of hospitality for the Stadium, while meeting customer expectations, health and safety requirements.

Salary is £12.50 per hour 

What you will do

• Welcome guests in a friendly and accommodating manner, making a phenomena first impression.
• Prepare the bar for service and carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Bar & Catering Supervisor.
• Support the bar team during service by clearing glasses, topping up ice buckets, emptying bottle bins and collecting and washing glasses.
• Collect glasses from inside and outside areas, wash and restock them behind the bar.
• Clear rubbish from tables to ensure a clean environment is maintained for guests.
• Present a positive personal image to the customer.
• Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the bar areas by following cleaning routines as set by the Bar & Catering Supervisor.
• Ensure that all equipment in the bar and restaurant area is working safely and is compliant with manufacturer’s guidelines for operation, reporting any concerns to the Bar & Catering Manager.
• Ensure that the bar areas are safe and report any concerns to the Safety & Compliance Officer or Bar & Catering Manager.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn about Health and Safety.
• Confidence in dealing with challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Passion for delivering great customer service.
• Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not necessary.
