Job DescriptionPosition – how you’ll contribute
As a Python Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of backend services for a high-load platform focused on sports betting and financial transactions. You will work on scalable APIs, asynchronous task processing, payment integrations, and real-time system functionality while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, performance, and smooth user experience.
QualificationsExpectations – the experience you need
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
- Experience working with web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Commercial experience with Python (2.7) and Django (1.6).
- Hands-on experience with MySQL (v.8), Redis, and backend performance optimization.
- Experience working with Celery for asynchronous tasks and scheduled job processing.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and development using Django REST Framework.
- Practical knowledge of Backbone.js, including models, views, collections, and routing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in English-speaking environments (minimum B2+ level).
Additional skills - the edge you have
- Familiarity with Socket.IO and real-time updates functionality.
- Understanding of sports betting platforms and financial transaction systems.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party services.
