This position partners closely with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify capability gaps, design impactful learning programs, and implement knowledge management strategies that empower teams to perform at their best. By aligning learning initiatives with business priorities, the manager ensures that SS&P Asia professionals have the skills, tools, and insights needed to deliver superior results, ultimately enhancing organizational performance and competitive advantage.
Role and responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Develop and execute a global learning strategy for sourcing and procurement teams.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement blended solutions.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training programs using KPIs, feedback loops.
Knowledge Management
- Establish and maintain a centralized knowledge repository for procurement best practices, policies, templates, and market intelligence.
- Implement knowledge-sharing platforms and collaboration tools to enable cross-functional learning.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned from sourcing projects and supplier engagements.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with leaders to identify skill gaps and knowledge needs.
- Act as a liaison between filed teams and global learning functions.
- Support change management initiatives.
Technology & Innovation
- Leverage digital tools to enhance learning and knowledge accessibility.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative learning methodologies.
Education and experience
Overall 10-15 years working experiences, 8+ of relevant experience in supply chain learning & knowledge management strategy and/or execution, preferably in a corporate, technology-related environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, capability development, learning & development, organizational development, knowledge management, business excellence, or related functions.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and drive learning, knowledge-sharing, or organizational improvement initiatives.
- Strong interest in both business operations and people capability development.
- Candidates from either supply chain/procurement backgrounds with passion for learning and development, or learning/knowledge management backgrounds with willingness to learn business operations, are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience in global and cross-functional organizations is preferred.
- Familiarity with learning technologies, collaboration platforms, and knowledge management tools is an advantage.
