The team in Málaga plays a key role in shaping internal platforms, improving operational excellence, and driving the adoption of next-generation technologies such as AI-driven automation.

The opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role that combines site reliability engineering, internal product development, and applied AI.

You will lead a small, high-impact engineering team responsible for both critical platform reliability and building internal applications that streamline how the business operates.

This role offers strong ownership. You will influence how systems are monitored, how incidents are managed, and how internal tools are designed and delivered. You will also help shape how AI is used in practical, production environments to reduce complexity and improve efficiency.

What you will do

• Lead and support a team of engineers, helping them grow while ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery
• Set technical direction and act as a key point of guidance for architecture and engineering decisions
• Own and evolve the observability and incident management ecosystem, including enterprise tools such as Dynatrace and PagerDuty
• Improve system reliability by introducing automation and reducing time to resolution
• Design and deliver internal applications that solve operational challenges and reduce reliance on external tools
• Work with AI services and large language models to build practical, scalable internal solutions
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand needs and translate them into effective technical outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering standards, delivery practices, and system performance

What you will bring

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a production environment
• Strong background in site reliability engineering, observability, and incident management
• Practical experience working with cloud platforms and DevOps automation
• Exposure to building or integrating AI solutions into real applications
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership and decision-making
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
