The Impact You Will Make
The Sr. Workplace Coordinator will be based out of the Chicago office and is responsible for supporting and managing workplace operations, alongside the Chicago Workplace Team.
The right candidate for this position has 3-5 years of experience in a corporate in-office setting, is a self-starter, strong team leader, reliable, proactive thinker, organized, has strong communication skills and is a team player. This position reports to the Chicago Workplace Manager.
Below are some of the major responsibilities for the role:
- Support the Chicago Workplace Manager and lead workplace related items for the Chicago office & help lead/support additional GH offices as business needs arise
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal, as it relates to external and internal stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Point-of-contact for vendors and contractors for Grubhub facilities (day porters, technicians, shipping/receiving etc). Lead all vendor management, particularly as it relates to contract fulfillment, compliance with company policies, and PM obligations. Able to assess company needs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Conduct daily rounds, walking the entire office space. Maintains a keen eye for detail as it relates to repair of furniture, structural concerns, cleanliness, and maintenance
- Comfortable using tools and conducting light handiwork. Ability to assemble, disassemble, and maintain office furniture and accessories, including storage/shelving units, monitor arms, soft seating and workstations
- Assist Workplace Manager with ensuring policy and procedures are followed by employees
- Manage oversight of pantry needs and work directly with local team
- Manage the upkeep and organization of the physical space, including but not limited to: cafe spaces/kitchen equipment, collaborative spaces, office supplies, storage rooms any dedicated grubhub space
- Assist Workplace Manager and local team with necessary tasks required to meet health and safety standards
- Lead local team with all internal office moves, including planning and implementation
- Responsible for managing our Office Space software system on behalf of the Chicago office
- Utilize the building management system to resolve daily maintenance issues (kitchen, carpet, etc.)
- Oversee support for reception desk, partner with GH and building security, and special events calendar
- Manage and execute room set ups for special events
- Provide top tier customer service for our employees
- Maintain strong and open lines of communication with all Workplace team members
- Identify and execute on "areas of growth" to ensure that Workplace experience is consistent with Grubhub culture

Position Details:
- Hourly position
- Occasional off-hours may be required
- Responsible for helping to manage vendor relations and schedule
- Light travel may be required
- Work must be performed onsite at the Chicago office
- Hybrid schedule to be determined with Chicago Manager
