Job DescriptionSr. Web Developer with LAMP stack skills
Location – Woodlands, TX
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be a lead developer working on Client’s web applications.
- Interact with backend developers to develop REST APIs
- Interact with mobile developers to add functionality to client’s mobile applications.
- Write functional specs and technical specs.
- Write test cases and coordinate unit and user acceptance tests.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of web development experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience using web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JS, React, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
- Very good understanding of mobile application development (iOS and Android applications using Cordova)
- Excellent understanding of web application development, architecture, and security best practices
- Ability to work on multiple parallel projects in (digital) software development
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and with at least one modern JavaScript web application framework (React, Angular, etc.).
- Master in SQL coding.
- Excellent knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Understanding of at least one modern PHP framework
- Experience of Git/GitHub version control
- Ability to work in fast paced, complex environments with the ability to be adaptable to change
- Experience in integrating systems using APIs
- Strong knowledge REST APIs, XML knowledge required
- Experience in Agile (Scrum /Kanban etc.)
