Project Summary
We are seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, modern, and scalable web applications in support of mission requirements. This role focuses on translating UI/UX concepts into functional applications, implementing software upgrades, maintaining system performance, and ensuring application reliability in a Top Secret environment. The ideal candidate brings strong full‑stack web development experience with expertise across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, test, and develop well‑structured, efficient, and maintainable web‑based software.
Apply best software engineering practices to meet mission and user requirements.
Recommend software upgrades and improvements to support evolving system needs.
Translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive, functional web applications.
Perform ongoing application maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Document application architecture, components, and processes for future maintenance and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, develop, and implement new features.
Write clean, well‑documented, scalable, and secure code in alignment with development best practices.
Debug and resolve complex technical issues impacting application functionality or security.
Stay current on emerging web technologies and industry best practices.
Required For This Opportunity
Active Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in web application development. Will consider 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience developing front‑end and back‑end web solutions.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
Experience translating UI/UX wireframes into functioning applications.
Strong understanding of software development best practices.
Demonstrated experience with application maintenance, testing, and performance tuning.
Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Skills
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Knowledge of database management and system integration concepts.
Understanding of web security standards and secure coding practices.
Ability to document technical processes and code for long-term sustainability.
