Job Description

Contract Details

  • 40 hrs/week
  • 6-month initial contract then renewing on an annual basis
  • Hourly Rate: $80-88/hr
  • Start date - Sept/Oct 2026
  • This position is in Atlanta, GA. Hybrid work environment with Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office

You will play a critical role in designing user experiences for our digital customer-facing products as the company undergoes major transformation initiatives in 2026 into 2027. This role focuses on consumer-facing app and web experiences, working on either the Menu Transformation team or the Membership Program Evolution team.

The company is embarking on two major priorities: (1) rebuilding the menu database system from the ground up to enable innovation like voice ordering, autonomous delivery, and expanded menu variety, and (2) evolving the membership program to provide more exclusivity, access, and value beyond the current earn-and-burn model.

Responsibilities

  • Design user experiences for consumer-facing mobile app and web products
  • Think structurally about how systems need to work, not just how they look
  • Work closely with UX researchers to translate findings into design solutions
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and strategists to define product direction
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that communicate structural solutions
  • Participate in design critiques and present work to stakeholders
  • Contribute to design system and maintain consistency across digital products
  • Balance business goals with user needs in design decisions

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of UX design experience
  • Strong focus on UX and structural thinking over purely visual design
  • Experience designing consumer-facing mobile and/or web applications
  • Proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems and define structural solutions

Essential Skills:

  • Systems thinking - ability to understand how things need to work structurally
  • Strong UX fundamentals in information architecture and interaction design
  • Ability to translate research insights into design solutions
  • Comfortable working on problems where the answer isn't immediately clear
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience working in agile environments
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach to feedback — able to take pushback and adapt without treating it as a challenge to their expertise
  • Comfortable working in a large corporate environment where pragmatic or "good enough" solutions sometimes ship over the ideal one due to timeline or engineering constraints

Working Style:

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and unclear requirements
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork
  • Ability to balance user needs with business objectives
  • Team-first mindset. You will be working alongside other designers as well as product, engineering and strategy stakeholders. This is not a solo or purely expert-driven seat
