Astellas’ Global Capability Centers – Overview

Astellas’ Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are strategically located sites that give Astellas the ability to access talent across various functions in the value chain and to co-locate core capabilities that are currently dispersed. Our three GCCs are in India, Poland and Mexico.

The GCCs will enhance our operational efficiency, resilience and innovation potential, enabling a timely response to changing business demands.

This position is based in Bengaluru and will require some on-site work.

Purpose and Scope:

This role will collaborate closely with partners in the Digital Technology, Ethics and Compliance and the business to ensure management strategies are executed for effective management of technology risk

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in the identification, analysis, resolution and monitoring of risk and compliance via standardized risk assessment processes
• Assists in maturity and evolution of standardized risk assessment processes and methodologies
• Identifies and reports findings, trends, problems, and activities that may indicate a need for change in policies, procedures, internal controls, or training
• Performs information technology (IT) risk assessments on processes and technology systems
• Reviews and manages policy exceptions through the process
• Tracks and monitors risk remediation action plans
• Interpret and analyze IT risk assessment results, report findings to business owners, and provide recommendations for remediation
• Work with business owners to coordinate and oversee the management of issues stemming from IT risk assessments
• Collaborate with internal partners to document risks, issues and mitigation plans leveraging One Trust
• Supports One Trust Information Technology and Risk Management (ITRM) module maturity (proficiency is not required, as training will be provided)

Qualifications Required 

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of IT, Security, or GRC experience in a position related to this role (e.g., information security, compliance, audit, risk, etc.)
• 1+ year of experience performing IT risk assessments
• Knowledge and understanding of information security best practices
• Experience with regulatory compliance and/or information security management frameworks
• Familiarity of domestic and global regulations related to data privacy and security
• Familitarity with ITRM tools and technologies (e.g., One Trust, ServiceNow, Auditboard, etc)
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Organized self-starter; versatile and capable of working with minimal management oversight

Preferred

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• One Trust experience a plus
