BLN24 is looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager to join our team.
About the Role:
The Sr. Technical Project Manager is a senior leadership role that provides strategic direction for an organization's project management operations. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource allocation: Overseeing and coordinating the resources needed for projects. 
  • Team leadership: Coaching and mentoring project managers, and establishing the PMO organization structure. 
  • Governance: Establishing the PMO role and creating a Center of Excellence in alignment with PMI guidelines, quality standards, and company requirements. 
  • Project management process: Overseeing the project management process, including tracking and monitoring, prioritization, communication, and quality controls. 
  • Project performance: Reporting on project performance to senior stakeholders. 
  • Project close-out: Championing project close-out meetings to identify opportunities for best practice and lessons learned sharing. 
  • Continuous improvement: Collaborating with Regional and Functional Leaders on continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Extensive government contracting experience working with civilian agencies, including DOE, DOC, HHS, and the Census Bureau.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience establishing and managing a Project Management Office (PMO) and creating Centers of Excellence aligned with PMI standards.
  • Strong skills in resource planning, allocation, and optimization to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Expertise in implementing and refining project management processes, including tracking, prioritization, quality control, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver clear, actionable performance reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Experience driving process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a track record of effectively presenting complex information to diverse audiences, including senior executives and government officials.
