About the role
Transcend is seeking a highly organized, consultative, and execution-driven Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex implementations for our enterprise and strategic customers. As a senior individual contributor, you will own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact onboarding projects involving privacy infrastructure, data governance workflows, and cross-system integrations.
You will guide customers through technical configuration, coordinate cross-functional engineering and solutions resources, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery for our largest revenue-generating accounts. This role requires exceptional project leadership, technical fluency, and a strong ability to manage risk, communicate clearly, and drive alignment across global, matrixed customer organizations.
This role is approximately 75% customer-facing and 25% internal operations, and works closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and CX leadership.
This is a remote, Full-Time, Exempt position based in the United States. The successful candidate must have valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST (Eastern Standard Time). This role reports directly to the Director of Solutions Engineering.
What you'll do
- Lead complex enterprise implementations end-to-end, ensuring tightly managed timelines, clear expectations, and a high-quality onboarding experience across legal, security, engineering, and marketing stakeholders.
- Own all project management responsibilities across your portfolio, including requirement alignment, timeline management, risk tracking, and detailed documentation to ensure predictable time-to-value and level-of-effort (LOE).
- Drive technical project kickoff activities, including configuring new customer accounts, establishing access roles & permissions, sharing required documentation, and assigning required training paths to customer teams.
- Serve as the central coordination point across Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success when blockers arise, ensuring rapid internal alignment and timely resolution.
- Maintain highly accurate project metadata within Asana, including milestones, dependencies, risks, LOE tracking for Solutions Engineering, and detailed status updates for internal and external visibility including post-sales handovers to Support.
- Evolve existing implementation playbooks, templates, LOE guidance, and milestone frameworks to reduce ambiguity and improve repeatability.
- Support operational rigor by enforcing data integrity across Asana, Salesforce, and internal tooling; ensure project health indicators are always current.
- Partner with CX leadership on capacity planning, utilization tracking, customer segmentation, and implementation resourcing models as we continue to grow.
- Deliver structured, proactive communication to customers and internal stakeholders, escalating thoughtfully and with clarity when needed.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers during implementation by helping them understand best practices, technical trade-offs, sequencing, and how Transcend integrates into their broader privacy and compliance architecture.
Who you are:
What you must have:
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, technical implementation, or onboarding programs for enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, privacy/security tech, or data governance platforms.
- Proven success leading multi-workstream enterprise implementations involving cross-functional stakeholders across non-technical and technical users.
- Highly skilled in creating structure from ambiguity, establishing scalable processes, and running complex technical programs with clarity and precision.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage matrixed customer organizations, including hands-on practitioners, senior leadership, and C-suite.
- Demonstrated strength in risk management, escalation handling, and cross-functional orchestration across CX, Solutions Engineering, and Product.
- High proficiency with Asana or equivalent project management tools (Jira, Monday, ClickUp, etc.), including metadata hygiene, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Autonomous and accountable: thrives in a remote, fast-moving, Series B → C environment with rapidly evolving processes.
- Comfortable working across multiple customer projects simultaneously, using automation and rigor to maintain productivity in a high-volume environment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand platform configurations, data flows, integrations, and architectural considerations (no coding required, but technical breadth and a desire to learn is required).

- Prior experience working with implementation partners and GSIs (global system integrators).
- Experience working with Fortune 500 customers.
- Experience influencing Product & Engineering to unblock revenue and drive clarity around roadmap dependencies.
- Any programming knowledge, systems integration experience, or AI/automation experience will strongly differentiate candidates

Compensation Information:
- Our comprehensive compensation packages play a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to bringing data rights to everyone.
- The compensation pay range represents our reasonable expectation for this role. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, experience, education, skillset, and geographic location.
- This specific range applies to Tier 1 labor markets like the SF Bay Area and New York City; it may be adjusted based on the labor market in other geographic areas and the individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
This role is eligible for:
- Variable Compensation: If applicable to certain roles, Transcend’s Variable Incentive Plan is designed to reward achievement of goals.
- On-Target Earnings (“OTE”): Compensation is structured based on an employee’s base salary (90%) plus a variable incentive (10%). Incentives are earned based on performance and subject to plan terms.
- OTE Projection: When base salary and target incentive are combined, the projected OTE for this role is as listed as the pay range, assuming achievement of 100% of goals.
