This position conducts stakeholder negotiations that span across portfolios by driving and managing numerous large, complex projects. In addition, this position will project-manage cross-functional teams by working closely with all aspects of the product development community: Market Vertical, Product Manager, Engineering, Testing, Legal, and more. The Senior Project Manager also builds development road maps and project schedules and collaborates to resolve issues by working with top Engineering resources utilizing our industry-leading technology.
Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Manage multiple high-complexity programs and projects within assigned product portfolios, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and financials are achieved.

  • Execution Excellence: Partner with global Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams to drive disciplined execution, while ensuring optimal resource utilization and capacity management.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and align cross-functional teams across diverse geographies, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and timely delivery.

  • Change Champion: Drive organizational transformation by creating transparency, establishing best practices, and embedding accountability across the PMO and partner teams.

  • Process Improvement: Identify, propose, and implement process improvements across the organization to enhance effectiveness and scalability.

  • Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in AI-related program delivery, representing portfolio status, challenges, and strategies to leadership in multiple formats (written, verbal, presentations).

  • Mentorship & Talent Development: Mentor and coach junior project managers, informally lead team members, and contribute to talent acquisition through candidate evaluation and recruitment.

  • Special Initiatives: Lead assigned strategic or special projects that improve operations, process efficiency, or program outcomes across the enterprise.

 

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of IT PMO experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, business, or equivalent experience required

  • Project governance certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) required

  • Experience in developing software for a deep understanding of the development lifecycle, ideally with experience building AI tools or projects

  • Extensive experience in project/program management, preferably within AI, data science, and/or software engineering domains.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional, and multi-portfolio programs.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Experienced with coaching and mentoring colleagues to foster growth and professional development.

  • Be able to demonstrate experience of using a broad area of data to inform decision-making.

  • Be a great communicator and able to deliver presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.

  • Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making.

  • Agile knowledge required.

  • Advanced understanding of resource allocation.

  • Have experience and knowledge of applying LLMs including ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, Claude, Mistral, etc.

  • Possess advanced programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages for data analysis

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $115,400 - $192,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Maryland, the base pay range is $121,200 - $201,900.If performed in New York, the base pay range is $126,900 - $211,500.If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $138,400 - $230,700.If performed in Rochester, NY, the base pay range is $115,400 - $192,300.If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $136,213 - $217,587. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
