Job Summary

This key role would be responsible for coordinating and tracking multiple team projects in support of XM Network Engineering and Performance organization.
The projects can be of various degrees of complexity and will include coordination of numerous groups and departments, critical thinking, and problem solving. Responsible for the technical program management activities and alignment for strategic programs, coordinating among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that programs are within the scope, within budget and on schedule, with guidance from senior staff member(s).

Are you passionate about driving complex technical programs that enhance network performance and user experience? Join our team as a Senior Technical Program Manager, where you’ll lead strategic initiatives that shape the future of our wireless network.
 

This role and team are based in our downtown Philadelphia Headquarters.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage multiple technical programs of varying complexity, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate across diverse internal and external teams to align priorities and achieve program objectives.
  • Develop detailed program plans, identify critical paths, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate goal-setting, success criteria, and milestone planning for programs impacting network performance and customer experience.
  • Support resource forecasting and budget planning for strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Oversee deployment strategies, trials, and controlled customer rollouts to validate program success.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance against plans and implementing creative solutions to complex challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 7+ years in technical program or project management, preferably in telecom, wireless, or networking environments.
  • Technical Background: Strong understanding of engineering principles; prior experience as a developer or QA lead is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and program management tools.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional technical programs.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Preferred: Domain knowledge in wireless networks or network performance.
