As Sr. Systems Engineer II, you’ll be passionate about identification and creation of solution requirements to best meet customer needs. We are seeking a person that is proficient with design, documentation, build, test, implementation, and support of core images.

What you’ll do:
- You’ll use tools, equipment, and procedures for repairing computers and peripheral devices
- You’ll use initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines
- You’ll provide advance proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
- You’ll provide advance proficiency level Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- You’ll be responsible for providing recommendations on potential security, speed and/or system enhancements for the desktop environment
What you’ll need to succeed:
- an active TS/SCI
- an MCSE 2012/2016/2019 certification
- A minimum of 7 years of System Engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- User account creation
- Basic AD understanding
- Experience with VMWare products
- VMware vSphere
- VMware Horizon
- Installation and configuration
- Troubleshooting
- VDI image creation and maintenance
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 or newer
- Installation and configuration
- Troubleshooting
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to commute to Rosslyn, VA.
SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $176,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
