Sr Supply Planning Analyst
The Senior Supply Planning Analyst strengthens material availability, inventory health, and planning performance through deep systems expertise, advanced analytics, disciplined parameter governance, and cross-functional problem solving. The role operates primarily at the site or Operations Center level, leads strategic and improvement work, and provides hands-on planning support when business continuity requires it.
ResponsibilitiesClear-to-Build- Own the end-to-end CTB process, including governance, data standards, review cadence, reporting, action tracking, escalation, and closure.
- Lead the weekly site CTB review with stakeholders and maintain a single, reliable view of material, supplier, capacity, and production-readiness constraints for week 5-13
- Validate CTB inputs from SAP, Maestro, MPS, procurement, operations, and other applicable sources before communicating business risk.
- Own the audit, maintenance, and improvement of material master planning settings, including MRP type and SPFEP attributes.
- Troubleshoot MRP-generated supply issues and ensure planning settings support material availability and inventory objectives.
- Manage inventory buffers, including safety stock, safety lead time, and CIR, with a formal quarterly evaluation and update cycle.
- Analyze excess, shortage, lot-size, LTB, and long production lead conditions; recommend risk-balanced countermeasures.
- Support inventory reduction while protecting customer service and production continuity.
- Prepare weekly site Capacity-to-Build reports and drive the related escalation process.
- Evaluate demand, supply, capacity, supplier, and lead-time constraints; communicate scenarios, business impact, and recommended actions.
- Support supplier delivery analysis and corrective-action deep dives.
- Use statistical methods and advanced analytics to solve complex planning problems and improve underperforming metrics.
- Apply advanced Excel, macros, SAP, Maestro, Power BI, or comparable tools to identify root causes, model scenarios, and monitor results.
- Translate analysis into clear decisions, standard work, and measurable countermeasures.
- Create and document standard work; train planners and business partners on planning processes and systems.
- Support strategic initiatives, system implementations, UAT, process deployments, and BOM or attrition-related analysis.
- Promote responsible adoption of AI and digital planning tools, capture user feedback, and improve learning workflows.
- Influence procurement, operations, suppliers, engineering, customer teams, and leadership without relying on direct authority.
- Drive alignment, accountability, and timely escalation while maintaining constructive working relationships.
- Serve as a pinch hitter for MPS or daily planning execution when needed.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Deep working knowledge of SAP and Maestro or comparable planning platforms.
- Strong knowledge of MRP logic, material master data, inventory buffers, BOMs, capacity constraints, and supplier performance.
- Advanced analytical capability, including statistical problem solving and practical Six Sigma methods.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with macros, Power BI, predictive analytics, or similar tools is preferred.
- Ability to convert complex data into concise recommendations, escalation messages, and implementation plans.
- Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation, training, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment under uncertainty, continuous-improvement mindset, and willingness to challenge assumptions constructively.

The annual base salary range for this position is $85k - $128k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
