Sr Supply Chain Specialist
Position Overview
We are looking for a Sr Supply Chain Specialist to join our manufacturing site in São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating import operations, managing procurement activities, and supporting end-to-end supply chain planning to ensure the availability of products and materials for the Brazilian market. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, international manufacturing sites, customs brokers, and external partners to drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate import processes, customs clearance activities, and all related documentation.
Plan the supply chain for imported finished goods from intercompany manufacturing sites to support the Brazilian market.
Plan the supply chain and procurement of raw materials for local manufacturing operations.
Manage direct and indirect procurement processes, as well as local inventory and stock levels.
Coordinate and oversee international commercial transactions with suppliers, companies, and government entities.
Plan import and export activities in accordance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and tax legislation.
Analyze international market opportunities and identify potential risks or operational challenges.
Ensure compliance with customs documentation requirements and coordinate activities with customs brokers and Brazilian Federal Revenue authorities.
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain performance, improve processes, and support business objectives.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience with domestic logistics operations.
Experience managing import logistics and international supply chain processes.
Solid knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
Advanced English proficiency.
Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions.
Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
