Responsibilities & QualificationsThe Novelis Atlanta team is seeking a Supply Chain Sr. Analyst. This role develops the network’s near‑term production plan and ensures alignment across facilities by proactively addressing capacity imbalances. It delivers clear performance insights through reporting and critical metric dashboards that track demand, inventory, and plan adherence. The position also maintains close collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations teams to support informed, network‑wide decision making.
Responsibilities
- NTP: Build the near-term plan for each facility in the network and submits it promptly to all collaborators.
- Initiate solutions in over- or under-loaded situations between value streams, operations, and finance with the goal of providing a balanced production plan (NTP).
- Develop and run reports and dashboards for all relevant critical metrics that measure performance to plan(s), customer requirements, demand forecast and inventory.
- Consistently monitor the supply-demand balance for the network and provide insights and regular reports to Network management and teams in Supply Chain, Value Stream and Operations to enable educated decision making at all levels.
- Collaborate with all team members and interested parties within Supply Chain (Facility Planning, Master Planning, Demand Planning).
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in Supply Chain in the manufacturing industry.
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, similar rigor with exposure to supply chain and experience in analytics and the use of advanced analytics tools as well as ML/AI preferred.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or Tableau.
- Good communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to balance the objectives of multiple partners.
- A deep understanding of the product flows, demand patterns and logistics characteristics of the network is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify risks and mitigation measures.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP, APO, Planning and order entry systems experience
- Lean 6 Sigma certification
