The Sr. Subcontract Administrator shall be responsible for supporting cradle to grave subcontracting and procurement contract management activities including, but not limited to, price analysis, price negotiation, interpreting government prime contract flowdowns, sourcing, writing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions, and special provisions. The individual will be responsible for the day-to-day subcontract management support of subcontracts and supplier agreements to include supporting proposal and capture efforts, issuance of new subcontracts, modifications, evaluating performance issues and the maintenance of file documentation to ensure compliance with client regulations, and corporate objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare subcontract documentation such as subcontracts, agreements, modification task/delivery orders, solicitations, estimates, cost/price analyses, negotiation memorandums, justifications, certifications and correspondence.
  • Participate in awarding and administration of T&M, Labor Hour, Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable/Award Fee type subcontracts, compliant with government client requirements in accordance with Acuity internal policies, as well as USG and client regulations
  • Process purchase requisitions, manage procurement commitments and compile documentation to establish subcontract files
  • Write Subcontractor Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information 
  • Maintain and update contract and procurement electronic and hard-copy files.
  • Manage the process for negotiating renewals and funding modifications
  • Assist in activities related to Acuity Small Business Program
  • Maintain logs for tracking contract actions, both electronic and hard-copy in accordance with Acuity internal policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Entering procurement information into Cost Point 
  • Interrupting prime contract flowdowns, special provisions and writing subsequent RFPs, Subcontracts, Subcontract Correspondence  

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6 years of subcontracts/procurement experience in Corporate Procurement and US Federal Government Procurement and/or Contracting
  • Full proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability and willingness to work with all levels of the organization
  • Oral and written fluency in English required
  • BS in business or other related field
  • Understanding of FAR / DFAR requirements and public laws
  • Experience with procurement compliance  
  • Knowledge of US government Small Business Program
  • Experience with procurement price analysis 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
