As a Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end cycle of electronics quoting, negotiation, and contracting. You will be responsible for collaborating across commodities and functions within and outside of ISC to support electronics proposals and contracts.
You will report directly to our Director, Strategic Sourcing, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ or Charlotte, NC locations on a Hybrid work schedule.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
- Strong negotiation skills and processes
- Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred
- Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry
- Significant experience managing contracts
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions
- Experience with executing subcontracts
