You will report directly to our Senior Strategic Sourcing Director and you’ll work out of our Bangalore, India location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by executing global sourcing strategies that optimize product cost, improve supplier performance, and support business growth objectives. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to drive cost competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute global product cost reduction strategies aligned with business objectives. 
  • Lead should-cost analysis, cost modeling, and benchmark assessments to identify cost optimization opportunities. 
  • Drive annual productivity savings and total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements. 
  • Analyze material cost drivers, manufacturing processes, market trends, and commodity impacts.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product Development teams during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases. 
  • Influence product design decisions through Design-to-Cost (DTC) and Value Engineering initiatives. 
  • Monitor product cost performance and develop mitigation plans against inflationary pressures. 
  • Support product lifecycle management activities, including sourcing transitions and cost optimization projects.
  • Monitor commodity markets, supply chain trends, and geopolitical risks impacting product costs. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, sustainability objectives, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, or related field. 
  • 8+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or product cost management experience. 
  • Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings and productivity improvements. 
  • Experience with cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and total cost of ownership methodologies. 
  • Advanced analytical and financial acumen. 
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
