About the Role 

We are looking for a Sr. Staff Microsoft Azure Administrator to join our IT team. You will be responsible for identity and access management, governance of resource groups and tagging strategy, cost optimization, and other cloud-related tasks. You will also collaborate with other Illumio stakeholders to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience within Microsoft’s Azure Cloud with the appropriate certifications. You should also have a solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and automation. You should be comfortable defining and enforcing governance strategies and best practices for cloud resources. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure and services, including identity and access management, resource groups, subscriptions, policies, roles, and permissions.

• Implement and maintain tagging strategy and standards for cloud resources and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Analyze and optimize cloud costs and usage, and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents, and escalate as needed.

• Design and implement cloud backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and provide guidance and support to other IT staff and business users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 8 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud, and relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Proficient in Azure services and tools, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Monitor, Azure Cost Management, Azure Policy, Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.

• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, security, and automation principles and practices.

• Experience in defining and enforcing governance strategies and standards for cloud resources.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

$213,000 - $258,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
