Expectations of the role

The Full Stack Developer must rely on technical expertise and strong business acumen to ensure the right approach, architecture, and systems are built for our evolving platform. This individual will have knowledge in all phases of the software development life cycle, as well as have knowledge of best practice implementation, standards, and hands-on experience with Microsoft tools. We need you to bring a breadth of experience and ideas to the role, with first-hand knowledge of the potential pitfalls involved in refactoring and scaling. We are growing quickly and adding new functionality daily. In this position, you will have an active role in how our product evolves and grows, and will be counted on by teams around the company.

What you will do

• Have solid work experience as a Software Developer, specifically with C# /.NET and SQL in a SaaS platform or e-commerce environment. You love to code and are looking for a job where you will get to practice and improve your coding skills every day
• Design and implement new features and functionality for both new and existing web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Collaborate with your team to design technical solutions to requirements
• Coordinate closely with product, creative, and database teams
• Work on an agile development team building a high volume web application
• Have proficiency in identifying opportunities to improve software value and user experience
• Have a strong sense of ownership of the software being built
• Have solid experience designing, developing, and tuning application SQL
• Familiarization with SEO best practices

Technology we use:

• Web Apps built with .NET,  C#, and Bootstrap
• APIs built on .NET and C#
• SQL Server 2012-2016
• Visual Studio Team Services and Git
• Experience with software development tools including, Javascript, C#, .NET, SQL , HTML, CSS, HTTPS, Bootstrap, REST architectures is a big plus

What you will bring

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• A desire to learn and continually grow and expand your technical skills
• Technical communications skills (blogs, talks, Stack Overflow account)
• Regularly conduct R&D with new libraries, frameworks, and technologies
• Similar Javascript Frameworks Knowledge (React, Angular, Aurelia, Backbone, Ember, etc)
• UI/UX Design Experience
• Automotive Industry Knowledge or Experience
