The Integrated Engagement Experiences (IEE) team in TPX focuses on delivering interactive sports entertainment experiences to our TV video product customers.Sports entertainment is the epitome of reality TV. The live nature of sports entertainment creates unique opportunities to deliver engaging customer experiences combining media, technology, and art. The cyclical nature of sports leagues seasons and competitions provides an exciting environment of short-/mid-/long-term efforts. The IEE team sits at the cusp of integrating new technologies, patterns, & products to engage our customers in the sports entertainment landscape of our video products.

A Full Stack Developer is responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Build products with web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple backend languages. Solve challenges that impact both the Front-End and Backend architecture, while delivering global customer experiences.
There is never a dull moment working in sports entertainment. Our team continuously delivers to the challenges of sports entertainment experiences to increase the value delivered to our customers. Each sport product experience is designed to evolve across sports, leagues, partners, & platforms. Each sport, league, partner, & platform introduce different combinations of components, patterns, processes & interfaces. These combinations inherently introduce technical challenges in UX, feature functionality, system integration complexity, operation & scale. In this role, you’ll be working in a fast-paced delivery environment delivering new immersive sports experiences for our video products.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Work with engineering team, product, and UX to understand new requirements.
- Refine and estimate new deliverables.
- Implement new APIs, backend services, Front-End UI components, and automation tasks to specification provided with the assistance of senior team members.
- Understand platform usage and assist with production deployments and customer issue triage.
- Design and develop highly available and scalable applications that can be hosted on Cloud Platforms.
- Design web applications that take can function with interruptions in connectivity.
- Design and develop security features as part of the development and embrace the DevSecOps culture.
- Create tools to identify and mitigate the production incidents within the defined MTTR (Mean Time To Recover) KPI.
- Create re-usable web components that can be leveraged by multiple teams, where needed.
- Create self-contained microservices or APIs to support the business logic.
- Use content management systems as applicable and global design patterns & defined coding standards and practices established by the team.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.
- Work closely with the architects and DevOps Engineers to define the functional and technical requirements.
- Create insights for Managers to track business and operational metrics.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
