Sr. Software Engineer
Internal Lilly title for this role will be Computational Statistician.
This role provides software development and process improvement support for research scientists (Discovery, Development, and Manufacturing).
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement computational workflows that support statistical and scientific needs

Lead the development of analysis applications that are highly usable, scalable, and maintainable
-
Identify and implement opportunities for automation
-
Develop technical solutions that enhance scientific research and computational methodologies.

Streamline data processing and software tools
-
Act as a computational and software leader by taking ownership of solutions from conceptualization to implementation
-
Communicate sophisticated computational concepts clearly to non-technical users
-
Perform work in full compliance with applicable corporate, local, and departmental policies and processes.

Validate programs and workflows to meet required standards
Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with software development experience
(OR)

Bachelor degree with two or more years of software development experience

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$85,500 - $209,000
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
