We are seeking a versatile Software Developer who will play a key role in our development team. This individual will support internal teams and manage central tools such as JFrog, SonarQube, and Docker base images. The ideal candidate will have a developer-first mindset, with strong DevOps capabilities, and a commitment to automation and best practices.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions for internal teams
• Manage and optimize central tools including JFrog, SonarQube, and Docker base images
• Implement and advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and agile methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
• Create automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Troubleshoot and resolve development and deployment issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement

Experience & Education

• A reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional debugging skills and strong experience with DevOps practices
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent technical, analytical, and organizational skills
• Good range of hands-on technical experience 
• Automation-first mindset

Technical Skills & Competencies

Mandatory

• Strong experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or similar
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• An automation-first mindset with a focus on enhancing productivity and reliability
• Scripting Languages - Bash
• Rest API, OData, GraphQL
• Experience working on CI / CD using GitHub Actions 
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Prior experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience with Unix toolbox - grep, sed, find, awk, jq, yq, ...

Preferable

• JFrog Artifactory 
• Relational Database Querying
• Messaging Systems (RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Familiarity with the development of re-useable frameworks, and libraries to be used by multiple development teams
• Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture patterns 
• API Design concepts and Development of RESTful web services 
• Experience using DevOps Tools for CI/CD 
• Experience with Tools and Best Practices for Secure Application Development
