About the job
We are looking for a Senior Web Application Engineer who will work with our current engineering team that consists of researchers and developers who build AI-platform-as-a-service to revolutionize the digital health industry. You will be an integral part of building, improvising, and operating web applications and services that directly integrate with digital health experience, and collaborating with our partners and customers to deliver a new healthcare platform to our patients.
You will:
- Be customer-oriented and have a keen eye for user experience
- Understand that shipping impactful software involves trade-offs and collaboration
- Thrive in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment, interacting and communicating effectively with team members
- Be familiar with standard software engineering methodology (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
- Have a strong sense of ownership and curiosity to explore other aspects that may go beyond your area of expertise
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in software development
- Experience with Web programming, using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Solid data structures, algorithms, and software design
Preferred qualifications
- 5+ years of Web Application development experience
- Experience with client-side JavaScript and GCP backend integration
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g. React)
- Experience with hands-on technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction
- Experience with architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
- Experience with shipping products in a dynamic and agile early stage startup environment
