We are searching for a Sr. Software Engineer, Embedded based in Hamburg, Germany to join our team. You will have the chance to learn from existing products and chart the course for future technology-based professional audio products.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with team members to refine requirements for software development
  • Communicate closely with development, QA, Product Owners, and Product Designers
  • Design, improve, and implement application software on embedded target platforms
  • Adherence to company-wide software design concepts and guidelines
  • Propose, document, and implement process improvements  
  • Collaborate with coworkers as a member of a product-focused SCRUM agile team 
  • Think logically, and debug problems based on facts 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher. MSCE/CSE, MSCS preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in software design and development
  • Strong object-oriented C++ programming skills and Git required
  • Ability to debug software on hardware using JTAG emulators, Oscilloscope, UART, etc
  • Proficiency with embedded software debug environments
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Excellent time, task, and resource organization skills
  • You are a self-starter, with a proven ability to continuously learn on your own
  • Background in music production and audio technology, as well as knowledge of music production software and software instruments, is a plus
